The County’s latest series of in-person and live streamed meetings to invite public input on budget, continue fostering modern community engagement
Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced his sixth annual series of signature town hall meetings to hear from constituents and stakeholders about their ideas and priorities for the County’s FY25 budget.

Seven meetings, one for each Council district, will provide a forum for public discussion focused on future budget priorities and ensure that community members have the opportunity to provide input into the budget planning process.

“Having open and honest conversations with the people of Baltimore County about their budget priorities sustains our commitment to the accessible and responsive government that our residents deserve,” said Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski. “I look forward to our conversations with stakeholders in every community as we continue building a better Baltimore County together.”

From 2016-2017, only two people testified on Baltimore County’s budget. In 2018, more than 2,000 people participated in the newly established town hall series during the County Executive’s first year in office, and engagement continues to grow as the series continues.

For those unable to attend, all Budget Town Hall Meetings will also be livestreamed on Baltimore County Government’s YouTube page.

Prior to each town hall meeting, Baltimore County will offer residents opportunities to engage directly with key department leaders to learn about available resources and ask individual questions. These Community Cabinet Open Houses will begin 30 minutes before the start of each meeting.
